This is a Colt 1911 chambered in .38 super. special edition called the El Porto Rampante. This Colt started life as a competition model and has since had a tremendous amount of custom work done to it. It is the second in the limited "El Porto Rampante" series which features a bright stainless steel frame that has been engraved, has gold inlays, custom grips, and a special serial number. Only 501 will ever be produced.
